The common areas were fine too but there can be long walks from the room to the elevators. There's a bar on the ground floor open until 1 AM and serving food until midnight and a restaurant in the basement that also serves food until midnight and room service until midnight. The lobby is recently renovated and inviting. Hotel: Surprisingly for an airport Crowne Plaza it's in good shape. The neighborhood isn't bad but there's really no reason to walk to anything. There's an LIRR Station (Locust Manor) a few miles away and a NYC Subway Station (Aqueduct) a little further. It's next to the Hilton JFK and Radisson JFK and near the Sheraton JFK and not a whole lot else. Location: The hotel is located at the intersection of the Belt Parkway and Van Wyck Expressway just north of the JFK Airport Grounds.
